The GOA NSW Whist & Bingo sessions were started in 2010.
The purpose was to encourage the older members of our community to attend a low cost event, held during the day & to meet up with like minded people for a game of cards & bingo.
The first session was attended by nearly 70 people, old & the young at heart.
In 2014, GOA NSW decided to ramp things up and introduced the Snowball Whist & Bingo. These sessions are held four times a year with a Rolling trophy awarded to the participant with the highest cumulative score over the four sessions.
The winner receives a miniature trophy as a keepsake.

Cash Prizes are awarded for the individual Whist sessions & Bingo prizes which is appreciated by all the participants.
Cost
$25- per person, which includes a light meal, snacks, water, tea/coffee and a sheet of 6 games for the Bingo costs $5.

The Whist & Bingo sessions are held at Reg Byrne Community Centre, Wentworthville.
The room is spacious & airy, with air conditioning and can accommodate up to 100 people.
The flyer notice of Whist and Bingo is posted on the GOA NSW Facebook page and the website and circulated via email 1 month before each session. Phone contact is made to those who do not have access to email or social media.
